Isla Elsewhere

Digital art on metal

Postcards from past the edge of the map

Places that almost exist, painted one stop at a time and printed on metal for your wall.

The Elsewhere Line

Off the west coast of Scotland there is a ferry that isn't on any timetable. It runs the Elsewhere Line out to Isla Elsewhere, the island at the end of the map, stopping at places that almost exist: glens where monorails hum over the heather, islands where rockets leave at teatime, beaches whiter than any brochure, skies with two moons.

A traveller in a yellow raincoat rides it and sends a postcard home from every stop. Each one is numbered, so you can follow the route, and each one is printed on metal so it lasts longer than paper ever could.

Wish you were here.

Where should the ferry stop next?

Name a place, real or not. Every week one suggestion becomes the next stop, and the next postcard.

Printed on metal

Every postcard is printed by Displate on a metal plate, in a matte or gloss finish.

No holes, no tools

Each print ships with a magnetic mount. It goes up in seconds and moves whenever you do.

Pick your size

Choose the size and finish that suit your wall on the Displate page for each postcard.
